The 1975 Ferrari 312 T is one of the most iconic single-seaters in the history of Formula 1, and the 1975 Italian Grand Prix is one of its most memorable moments. The race takes place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, in front of a huge crowd of Ferrari fans. It was a historic moment because Lauda arrived at the race with a lead in the standings and needed only to finish the race to win the championship. The Austrian driver drove intelligently without taking unnecessary risks and finished the Grand Prix in 3rd place, a result sufficient to crown him world champion. The Grand Prix was won by Swiss driver Clay Regazzoni ahead of Emerson Fittipaldi in a McLaren. Ferrari returns to winning a drivers’ title after a difficult period, and it is one of the most thrilling moments for Italian fans. This result is significant because it marks Ferrari’s resurgence in Formula 1. Furthermore, the 1975 Ferrari 312 T becomes one of the most successful single-seaters of all time, and for Lauda, an incredible career begins, cementing his status as a motorsport legend. The packaging for this kit features the stunning cutaway illustration by Giorgio Piola, who has created a range of special collectables to mark the 50th anniversary of the historic victory at Monza in 1975.
